What RedHawk does for customers is it allows them to “keep score” of their manufacturing operations. It does this by collecting plant floor level data from customer’s production machines and displaying that information in real-time for operators to see the current metrics of their process.

How we do this is quite simple. Our system consists of a display that operators use to enter job and process event information and also view the important real-time metrics of their process. In addition, there is also a very powerful web-based reporting side to RedHawk that enables both operators and management to run reports from the data collected and stored. All the information collected is organized and the important details can be accessed according to shift, job numbers, and individual operators. Other reports can easily be generated too providing useful information such as the Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for a given manufacturing line, as well as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Productivity by Operator or Shift, and other important manufacturing metrics.

Lastly, because our system is web-based and runs on our customer’s network it can be accessed from virtually anywhere a connection is available. Using our HawkEye tool we can provide the real-time status and production information of machines, including the orders running on them and where they are currently at within them.
